Program

The International Shibari Film Festival (ISFF) will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, bringing together filmmakers, artists and audiences for an evening dedicated to shibari through cinema.

This first edition offers a curated selection of films exploring shibari as an artistic, narrative and visual language.

The full program will be announced in spring 2026.

Welcome & Opening Remarks
Introduction to the festival, its artistic direction and the objectives of this inaugural edition.

Film Screenings — Official Selection 2026
Presentation of the selected films across the three categories:
Live & Performances, Cinema & Narration, and Singular Perspectives.
Each film will be shown in its final screening format.

Audience Vote
At the end of the screenings, the audience will be invited to vote for the Audience Grand Prize, which will be awarded to one of the three category winners.

Awards Ceremony
Announcement of the category winners and presentation of the Audience Grand Prize.

Closing & Social Gathering
A moment of exchange between filmmakers, performers, attendees and the festival team.
